  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. THIRST

THIRST   

Isaiah 55:1-13
Devotional:-"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price” (v.1) NKJV


    As citizens of the kingdom of God, you must know that God does not waste His virtues. If you want the grace to grow and be a true disciple of Jesus, you must be thirsty for God (John 7:37-38). The reason many don’t grow in the church is because they are not thirsty for God. It is important we come to know that we are the one that need God. 

    The word of God says, blessed are those who hunger and thirsty for righteousness for they shall be satisfy (Matthew 5:6). The truth is that, God will not reveal Himself to you more than you are thirsty for Him (John 7:37-38). If you always come to Him as though He is not important to you. Or you only come to Him when you have a need. Then, you will always struggle with Him and will always need a middle man to get to Him. 

    God is your father and you should not lack what your father has. But if you don't seek God with all your heart, you may not find Him (Jer 29: 13). This is because, the level of the price you paid to get a thing will determine your ability to keep it. There is nothing like casual Christianity. You are either belonging to Christ or not. Make up your mind to surrender your heart to God totally and you will find Him. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to take my relationship with you serious. 

"IT IS ONLY WHAT YOU ARE THIRSTY FOR THAT YOU GET AND ARE ABLE TO KEEP"

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
