All God’s servants need to appreciate the great opportunity given to them by God, calling them into His service as His representatives. Those who are ambassadors or representatives of a government in this world are not mere men. They are carefully selected among others. Their selection makes them a delegate. And therefore, they carry a delegated authority to stand on behalf of the government. Because of this, they carry themselves with great honour and dignity.

As a servant of God, do you know that God carefully selected you? He located you like He did to find Elijah and Elisha. Though you were not qualified, He qualifies you. That is why it is not by certificate or credential. He has given you the office of His ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20). He Himself becomes your righteousness, and He said your righteousness is of Him and not of any man (Isaiah 54:17).

Do you know that God is wherever you are standing (Isaiah 43:1-3)? Do you know you have power to forgive sin (John 20:23)? Do you know that God’s ministering spirits wait on you to bring your word to pass; to bring healing, peace, joy and salvation to human lives? (Hebrews 3:1, Isaiah 44:26). You are empowered by His authority to cast out devils. You are God’s delegate to judge the enemy and release others from afflictions (Isaiah 53:11, Luke 10:19). For these reasons, you and your family enjoy special health and protection as His ambassador. Stand strong in this, and then you will be able to maximise the value of your office for God’s glory.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen me to take my place in you.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
