SHARING YOUR FEELING

SHARING YOUR FEELING Hebrews 4:11-16 Devotional:- “For we do not have an high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness… (V. 15)” It is not always very easy for people to understand us, especially when we pass through challenges and are weak. Even those who want to understand and sympathise could get to a level and turn back. Sometimes, instead of people sympathising with us, they constitute a panel of judges and begin to point accusing fingers at us.  As part of the act of love of Jesus, the scripture we read today says, He sympathises with us in our situation. In other words, He knows exactly what you are going through, both the one you can explain and the one you cannot. He could feel exactly the way you feel. The Bible says, He has suffered as we do. Even if you are struggling with a weakness or a sin, He has also been in the flesh. He knows how painful your feelings are. He cannot reject you, and He identifies with you and still loves you. PROCESS OF CHARACTER

PROCESS OF CHARACTER                                                     Romans 5:1-5
Devotional:-“And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance” (Vs. 3) NKJV

As a disciple of Jesus, it is important we know that the greatest focus of Christ is that we are like Him. That is why we must be ready to go through the process of developing our character to be like Jesus. Please, remember that those who are Christ-like are called Christian.

In the scripture we read today, the word of God show us the process through which we develop Christlike characters. The word of God says, when we put our total hope in God, we are able to rejoice in the hope of His coming glory. In waiting in hope, we glory in tribulation. This hope in tribulation produces perseverance and perseverance produces character. It is this character that increases our faith to hope more in the Lord

It is in the practice of God to mature His children through a trouble time (Deuteronomy 8:1-2). Even Jesus went through hard time to be mature (Hebrews 5:8). So, always look for the lesson God wants you to learn in every situation and you will keep growing in the life style of Christ. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to grow in all situation

“SUFFERING MAKES US MATURE WHEN WE PUT OUR TOTAL HOPE IN HIM”
