  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. FAITH      

2 Corinthians 10:12-18
Devotional:-“Not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, in other men's labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere” (v.15) NKJV


    One of the assignments of a disciple of Jesus is to grow in faith. To grow in faith is to increase in the confidence we have in God through the knowledge of the word of God (Romans 10:17). A child of God that is not growing in faith will always face defeat and intimidation of the devil (1 John 5:4). 

To grow in faith, a child of God must give himself or herself to studying the word of God and reading books written by men who are stronger in faith. Since God give us grace according to the measure of our faith, we then need to recognize the fact that some people are stronger in faith than us and we must humble ourselves to learn from them. God will not need to reveal some things to us since we can gain the light of it from men and women, He has given them to.

Friend, to grow in faith, we must humble ourselves to study books and listen to messages of men of Faith. This helps us to tap into the grace of faith through them. As we also give ourself to meditating in the word of God, we cannot but increase in faith (Romans 10;17). The testimonies of the word of God increases our faith in God. Walking with the people of faith also gives you access. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, increase my faith 

“NO FAITH, NO VICTORY”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
