The strangers will be joined with them, and they will cling to the house of Jacob.” (v. 1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional THE RELEASE OF MERCY Support Us Isaiah 14:1-7 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com For the strength of the enemy to be totally broken in your life, there is a need for you to ask for the release of mercy of God upon your life, wife and children. Most of our forefathers in this part of the world are idol worshippers and have committed so much sin against God. This had made many generations after them to be inheritor of destruction. GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE

1 Thessalonians 5:16-22
“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (Vs. 18) NKJV

Any time we find it difficult to give thanks to God, it is because we are in a great confusion. The word of God said, God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). Humanity often find themselves in confusion because we really do not know God or exercise patient enough to follow His ways.
We often want to praise the Lord because of what He has done. I want to challenge your reasons for praising the Lord. A major reason we should praise the Lord is because He is our God. He is our father, our Lord and our redeemer (Revelation 5:9-10, Galatians 3:13-14). Do you know that you honour your parents not because of what they do or do not? You simply honour them because they are your parents. You know you came to the world through them (Hebrews 12:8-10). Even, if they discipline you yesterday when you wake up in the morning you still greet and honour them. So also, is our Heavenly Father.

We should praise God always, because He is our father, our owner, our controller and Lord. It does not matter whether you have eaten or not, He is still your God. So, we should give thanks to Him always as true disciples of Christ. Then we will always remain in the will of God. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to truly take you as my owner in life

“IF YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR PARENT, YOU CANNOT CHANGE YOUR GOD”
