  YOUR VICTORY IS WAITING John 16:25-33  Devotional:- “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” (v. 33) NKJV It is of great importance that we recognize that there are two forces ruling the earth. They are the forces of God, and devil; light, and darkness, or good, and evil, You can refer to them in any of these ways. These two forces are consistently against each other. That is why darkness and light don’t co-exist. The moment there is light, darkness cannot stand there. But you will observe that one is stronger than the other. For example, if you are in a room and it is dark, if you put on the light darkness gives way. But it is impossible for darkness to come and off the light, or take over from light or chase light away. God is light and the enemy is darkness. “The light shines through the darkness and the darkness can never extinguish it” (John 1:5) TLB. This ...

UNDERSTANDING   

Ephesians 1:15-22
Devotional:-“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (v.18) NKJV


  No one will be able to grow in God above his/her level of understanding. Our level of understanding determines how much we can yield or submit to God. It determines how much we can exercise in the power and the grace of God. No one can achieve in life more than his/her level of understanding. It is knowing and having an insight into how things are done. 

The way and the word of God is mysteries. We will not be able to walk in them except we grow in understanding. (1 Corinthians 14:20). To grow in understanding, we need quality fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the word of God. (Job 32:8). It is the Holy Spirit that helps us understand the word of God (John14:26). If not, the word of God will look like foolishness to you.

Friend, you need to grow your reasoning capacity, insight, sensitivity and perception of the things of God by meditating in the word of God. It is our understanding that determines the flow of the grace of God to our lives (2 Peter 1:2). Only men of understanding can grow into maturity (2 Peter 1:3). Always ask for the spirit of understanding by the Holy Spirit and you shall be given (1 kings 3:5-10). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me understanding of your ways

“MEN ONLY BECOME OUTSTANDING BY UNDERSTANDING”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
