MEETING PEOPLE  Genesis: 18:1-10 Devotional:- “and said, "My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant.” (V.3) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional MEETING PEOPLE Support Us Genesis: 18:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com God, in His wonderful act of creation, has made each one so great and glorious. Do you know that what each of us needs is in the hands of some people (Luke 6:38)? There are some people you will need to meet for your life to change. It is funny that these men have no tag. And this calls for wisdom that you should value everyone that comes around you (Hebrews 13:2) In the scripture we read today, Abraham was a man who valued others. He never knew that he was meeting God’s vessel for his change that day. If he had despised or abused them and cast them out, it...

POWER OF THE EYE

POWER OF THE EYE

Matthew 6:22-23
Devotional Verse:- "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light” (Vs. 22)

It is the lifestyle of every citizen of the kingdom of God to walk in light. While light gives understanding, darkness brings confusion and stagnancy. The Bible calls God the father of light (James 1:17) and calls us the children of light (Eph. 5:8). Light is about the illumination, brightness of our hearts and the clarity of our understanding. The eye the Bible is referring to is majorly our inner eyes by which we have the understanding of knowledge and the wisdom for living. Just like the physical eyes, when you open it, you will see clearly, but when you close it, all you will see will be darkness.

Jesus is therefore saying that we should always allow our inner eyes to access light. By this, our whole body will be full of light.

This light is the understanding that comes through the revelation of the word of God (Psalms 119:130). We gain light by seeking knowledge of the truth of our situations and then have clarity of the understanding of what to do. That is why a child of God does not read the Bible just to become a professor or a preacher but to gain light. This is the secret of our rising in life (Isa. 60:1). You will be unstoppable in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, show me the light for my progress.

“YOU CAN’T RUN WITH SPEED IN THE NIGHT MORE THAN THE BRIGHTNESS OF YOUR HEAD LAMP”.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
