PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

MOURNING FOR COMFORT
Isaiah 61:1-11 Devotional Verse:- “To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified” (Vs. 3).
Mourning as it applies to the teachings of Jesus in Matthew 5:4, is a feeling of being inadequate in spirit. Anyone ‘mourning’ feels that he has missed a virtue in God that must be regained. Such a person feels that he is missing something of great value. However, God is always out to extend comfort. In today’s Scripture, we can see the prophesy that was given about the ministry of Jesus and the assignment He had to carry out in the world. Jesus declared this manifestation in Luke 4:18-19. He came to comfort us and take away our mourning. Mourning in Zion applies to anyone facing a tough time but still remaining in Christ. You must remain in Christ no matter what you are going through. This is because it will lead to your comfort in the long run. This is one of the factors of God’s blessings that make one end in joy and comfort if one remains in Christ. Keep your feet in Christ and you shall be comforted beyond your imagination this month. Peace! Prayer: Lord, comfort me in your mercy this year in Jesus’ name.
“COMFORT IS ALWAYS WAITING AHEAD OF A FAITHFUL BELIEVER”
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
