PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

VENGEANCE
Mathew 5:38-42 Devotional Verse:-"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.'” (Vs. 38).
In the ungodly world, life is tit for tat when people’s cars are mistakenly bashed. There must be a payback for any property mistakenly hit or destroyed. It is actually not out of hand to make a man pay for what he has carelessly handled as a way of discipline for him, but we must not always insist on this so as not to offend God (Romans 12:17). In our Scripture for today, Jesus teaches us to be willing to give out things. This teaching is about being liberal and willing to let go by letting God have His way because we must not take vengeance (Romans 12:19). We all could have been involved in this before but we need to learn from the word of God to always let go. We must not be so attached to things that we start returning a slap for a slap, or an eye for an eye (Matthew 5:40). Sometimes, we must accept that whatever is done is done. It becomes a test for us before God who is our provider. Don’t let Him stop your provision. Remember that, vengeance should be left for God (Deuteronomy 32:35). Let Him fight for you. Prevent evil and don’t wait for them to happen before you start to think of revenge. Don’t lose your life because of properties but teach people that they must not demonstrate the bitterness of vengeance. Teach them to show love so that God will reward them. Peace! Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the spirit of vengeance
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
