  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. PURE IN HEART             

Titus 1:10-16
Devotional Verse:-“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled” (Vs. 15).
 
    It is important for you to know that the heart of the problem of a man is the problem of the heart. One of the ways to enjoy the kingdom of God is by having a heart that is free. That is why the word of God instructs us to guide our hearts diligently because the issues of life flow out of them (Prov. 4:23). Until a heart is pure and free, such life will be corrupt or defiled.  
    The word of God says “Blessed are the pure in heart…” (Matt. 5:8). Been pure in heart means having a heart that is put right with God and free of fear of condemnation (Romans 8:1). It is putting your heart right with God which demands that you love to do His will in all things. This is by always standing where God stands in all situations. These are the people who will always see God in all their situations. Such will easily access God (Psalm 24:4).
 
    Friend, don’t join others to live in condemnation (Romans 8:1). To some people, it is spirituality to live in condemnation but the Bible says, the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17). Don’t be a part of those who see the devil in everything. Don’t rate the devil as though he is stronger than God. Jesus is the Almighty and He has defeated the devil on the cross (Colossians 2:14-15). Now all power belongs to Jesus. Hold on to the word of God by faith. You will always be victorious in Jesus name. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, give me a pure and free heart.
 
“THE STATE OF YOUR LIFE CANNOT BE BETTER THAN THE STATE OF YOUR HEART”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
