THE BLESSING

THE BLESSING

Gen 39:1-6
Devotional Verse:- “The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian” (Vs. 2)
NKJV

Very many people often think that the blessing of the Lord is all about material things. This is one of the reasons many are not grateful and are not happy in life. Riches are just one of the manifestation of the blessings of the Lord (Prov. 10:22). The blessings of the Lord are the entirety of the goodness of the Lord and this is made manifest by the presence of the Lord with a man.
We saw in the scripture that Joseph was prosperous, though he was a slave in the house of his master in the land of Egypt. The Bible says people around Joseph noticed that the Lord was with him. They also observed that this was the secret of his blessing (Genesis 39:3). That is why you as a child of God should know that you are blessed because the God who owns all things is with you (Ephesians 1:3).

All you need to do to activate this blessing is to humble yourself, fear the Lord, always ask for His leading in all you do and obey His instructions (Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 25:9-14). Always obey the Lord as He instructs you in taking steps of faith in pursuit of your businesses (John 2:5). Be obedience to Him in giving and this will open for you the door of divine ideas (Isaiah 48:17). You will have divine protections on all your businesses and investments (Malachi 3:10-12). Remember, Jesus has taken away curses and poverty from your life and you are operating under the covenant of blessing (Galatians 3:13-14). Always claim your portion in His blessing. This will help you to be a partaker of the fullness of God’s blessings which will ensure your greatness on earth. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to build the right attitude for your blessings.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

WAYS ON WATER Exodus 14:10-22 Devotional:- “So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.” (v. 22) NKJV      The enemy's trick in the lives of so many people today is to make them believe that they have come to their crossroads and that the road has ended. So many always agree with this deceptive thought, which leads to their frustrations. The enemy makes them look at situations around them as evidence of his words. So, many people easily agree with the devil and become victims of his deceit.
