RAISING GODLY FELLOWSHIP

RAISING GODLY FELLOWSHIP Ephesians 4:1-6 Devotional:- “Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (V. 3) It is only the Holy Spirit that can raise true and godly fellowship of believers but He uses the committed members of the body of Christ who make themselves available (Ephesians 4:3). It is by God’s power this is possible but we must choose to commit ourselves to the work of the kingdom wherever we find ourselves either in the school or in different community on earth. To raise a genuine and Godly fellowship we must share the truth of the word of God and not of human philosophy (Ephesians 4:15). To raise true Godly fellowship takes humility, self-importance, and stubborn pride easily destroys fellowship. Humility is the oil that makes relationship smooth (1 Pet 5:5). To develop humility, admit your weaknesses, be patience with others’ weaknesses, be open to correction and showing others the Bible love (Rom 12:16). Humility is not thinking less of yoursel...

DON’T WORRY

DON’T WORRY

Matthew 6:25-34
Devotional Verse:-"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?” (Vs. 25)

Worry is not a lifestyle of God’s kingdom citizen. Our lifestyle as citizens of the kingdom of God is the life of complete trust in God. People worry because of unpredictable help, uncertain hope or unfulfilled promises. When a man is in a time of need, he wants to have a word of assurance of his help. If there is a promise that is lingering, it naturally creates room for worry and tension (Prov. 13:12).

Worry is a function of faith becoming weary. It is a function of confidence becoming weak. Worry is a sign or feeling of being abandoned. It is simply human to worry but as children of God, we should know that God is not a man (Numbers 23:19). Whenever you are relating with God, you should not make the mistake of thinking that He is a man who will fail.

Whenever God makes promises, He always fulfills them (1 Thessalonian 5:24). When He promises us anything, He expects us to believe Him in faith to obey Him. Our worries will not let God keep us close enough because they are offensive to Him. Thank God! He understands our weaknesses (Hebrews 4:15). We really need to pray to overcome the habit of worrying. We need to cultivate the habit of trusting God by depending on Him. That way, we can easily receive our blessings from Him. You will not fail in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, give me victory over worry.

“WORRY IS NOT A CONCERN BUT A WEAKNESS”.
