YOU ARE FROM GOD

YOU ARE FROM GOD Colossians 1:9-18 Devotional:- “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him” (V. 16) One of the greatest troubles of human life is people living out of their purpose. Until you find your purpose and fit into it, life will continue to be a struggle. Locating the meaning of human life is one of the greatest adventures someone can embark on. This is because when the purpose of a thing is not known abuse is inevitable. That is why the human life is so abused today.  As God’s kingdom citizens, finding the purpose of life and the meaning of life becomes easier when we source for it from the word of God. The best purpose of a product is known by the maker. To locate our purpose on earth, we must begin with our maker. The word of God says God made the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). LOVE YOUR ENEMY

LOVE YOUR ENEMY

Matthew 5:43-48
Devotional Verse:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you” (Vs. 44).

When we act in love, we demonstrate what is in our heart (Matthew 12:35). If we are truly changed people, we will crave to demonstrate love in all that we do (John 13:35). To know whether we are truly changed or not, God always uses cases that looks negative to test us (Deut. 8:2-3). So, let us learn ahead of time to pass whenever we are tested.
Jesus said that if we love only our friends, then we are not better than the unbelievers who also love their friends (Matthew 5:46). Wicked people make friends amongst themselves and take care of themselves. What is the difference between the unbeliever and us? If we are truly children of God, then we must forgive and love our enemies. God gives His rain and sun to both the wicked and the Righteous (Matthew 5:44-45).

To be able to love everyone, we must grow in the habit of forgiving people (Matthew 6:14-15). We must learn to always love people so that when they demonstrate hatred towards us, we will show them love because that is what we are. This is only possible when we pray for our enemies like Jesus has commanded us (Luke 23:34). When you do this, your heart will be rich and mature in God (Matthew 5:48). Then you will be ready for your lifting in God. Peace!

Prayer: Lord Plant the spirit of love in my heart in Jesus name.

“WHATEVER YOU DEMONSTRATE IS YOUR QUALITY”.
