  WISDOM Luke 21:7-19  Devotional:- “for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.” (V.15) NKJV It is impossible for a man to succeed in this world without wisdom. This is because we are living in a world that is so terrible and perverse. The spirit of the enemy has so much advanced in the children of the world, and we will need a super wisdom to overcome them. But thanks be to God. Wisdom is one of the gifts of love we have from God in the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). The wisdom we have in God is not the earthly wisdom but divine and heavenly. This makes it possible for us to rule on the earth with heavenly wisdom. But you and I must know how to employ this wisdom. This is by asking and giving room for the operation of the Holy Spirit upon our mind. PRAYER FOR SHOW

Matthew 6:5-13
Devotional Verse:-"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward” (Vs. 5)
 

    Hypocritical people do many things for show off. People of the world today feel that you look odd when you are not showing off. So, what is right is becoming wrong and wrong is becoming right. But I want you to know that God is faithful to all who are faithful to Him.
 
    In today’s Scripture, Jesus tells us that we should not pray to prove that we are specially gifted in prayers. In doing this people will not receive any answer from God.  Standing in public places to show that one is good in prayers is absolutely wrong. Don’t do such to demonstrate the ability or the grace of God in your life. Jesus taught us that, if we are to pray, we should go to the secret of our rooms, pouring out our hearts to God. Don’t forget that prayer is relating with God and we must do it with all humility. 
 
    You really don’t need any formula for prayer as it is in some churches today. All you need to do is to simply open up your heart to God. Ask Him anything in faith and believe that He will answer you. Surely, He will be faithful to answer your prayers. Peace! 
 
Prayer: Lord, help me to understand the process of asking and receiving in prayers.

“SHOW OFF PRAYERS IS VAIN PRAYERS”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
