  JOY IN TRUSTING GOD Proverbs 16:16-26 Devotional:- “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (V. 20) NKJV Living in doubts, fears, and anxieties cause sadness and sorrows in the lives of people. Sometimes it’s so bad that it leads to depression and ill health. One of the reasons for this is often our inability to trust God in times of need. Whenever there is a delay in our expectations, we easily struggle with our relationship with God.  But when a man trusts in the Lord, he will not see the troubles around, he will only see the promises of God that can never fail; and that will bring great joy, peace and happiness. People around him will wonder what is giving him such joy even in the face of imminent challenges. Beloved God loves you. He cares about you. He has promised to help you (Isaiah 41:10). PRAYER FOR SHOW

Matthew 6:5-13
Devotional Verse:-"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward” (Vs. 5)
 

    Hypocritical people do many things for show off. People of the world today feel that you look odd when you are not showing off. So, what is right is becoming wrong and wrong is becoming right. But I want you to know that God is faithful to all who are faithful to Him.
 
    In today’s Scripture, Jesus tells us that we should not pray to prove that we are specially gifted in prayers. In doing this people will not receive any answer from God.  Standing in public places to show that one is good in prayers is absolutely wrong. Don’t do such to demonstrate the ability or the grace of God in your life. Jesus taught us that, if we are to pray, we should go to the secret of our rooms, pouring out our hearts to God. Don’t forget that prayer is relating with God and we must do it with all humility. 
 
    You really don’t need any formula for prayer as it is in some churches today. All you need to do is to simply open up your heart to God. Ask Him anything in faith and believe that He will answer you. Surely, He will be faithful to answer your prayers. Peace! 
 
Prayer: Lord, help me to understand the process of asking and receiving in prayers.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
