  SPIRIT OF JOY Galatians 5:16-26 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness” (v.22) NKJV For all men to experience an ever-flowing joy, we must first possess the spirit of joy. God is the source of joy. When He is in a man, He brings His joy along (Psalm 16:11). Since God is a Spirit, He can only be with men by dwelling in them. When the spirit of God dwells in a man, he will experience unlimited joy. One of the most neglected exercises in the church is people receiving the Holy Spirit. Most Christians look for one excuse or the other to neglect the Holy Spirit in their life. Sometimes people feel the Holy Spirit is not that necessary. Some people feel it is an old way of following the Lord. But you need to know that if you lack the Spirit of God, God’s word says that you are none of His own (Romans 8:9). YOU ARE THE BRANCHES                

John 15:1-8
Devotional Verse:- "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (Vs. 5)

    As citizens of the kingdom of God, we are so special in the hand of our God that we are given special roles to play. The role of glory that Christ has given us is not common in the generations of men. We are given this special place because Christ loves us and made Himself a sacrifice for our redemption (Revelation 5:9).
 
    Jesus says, He is the vine and we are the branches. This is a rare position only for the citizens of the kingdom of God. Jesus went ahead to say that His father is the vine dresser while He is the vine. Just picture it in your mind that God is a gardener, Jesus is the plant while you and I are the branches. Do you know that it is the joy of the gardener to see the flower and the fruits of the plants? What a great honour it is that we are to carry the beauty and the fruits of the Spirit of God! 
 
    We must therefore do everything to bear fruits in response to such love from Jesus. These fruits are the fruits of repentance unto righteousness which are the fruits of turning to obey God (Matthew 3:8). They are the fruits of the Spirit of God (Galatians 5:22) and the fruits of soul winning. Make up your mind to do the will of the father in soul winning and giving. Work on yourself in the word of God to bear the fruits of the Spirit so that you will not be cast out (John 15:2). It's a new day!
 
Prayer: Lord, help me to be focused and fruitful to keep my place in you.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
