He was a victim of jealousy and envy. Just as God lifted up His children every where, God granted him excelling wisdom and favour in the land of slavery. Though he was a slave, the favour of God brought him to the top. This he attained by using the gift and the grace of God in his life. God lifted him up to be among the presidents of the p...

DO BUSINESS TILL I COME

DO BUSINESS TILL I COME

Luke 19:11-27
Devotional Verse:-“So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come.'”  (Vs. 13)

To a citizen of the kingdom of God, doing business is not a suggestion but a commandment. Any child of God who is not doing business is therefore disobeying God. It is a sin that can send him to hell. What is the business God wants us to do? It is trading with what He has given us to bring profit into His kingdom for our promotion.

God has given every one of us something to trade with. Your spiritual gifts, passion, special abilities, personalities and experiences. Your family or financial experiences and your testimonies are all instruments of trade for God. You can earn greatness in life from all these. This is by solving others problems with your abilities. You have no reason to be poor as a child of God. Giving excuses of not having a job is irrelevant in the kingdom of God. It is called wickedness and laziness (Matthew 25:24-30). Jobs are created to give people income and meet their needs.

Friend, you have a money machine inside of you. Don't carry it around complaining. Just sit back and think (Luke 14:28). Your profit is to draw others to the kingdom of God. Your profit is to solve problems of people around you. Your profit is to make good income so that you can be a blessing to your family as well as God’s kingdom. Stop being careless in the way you go about your life. God is a business man and has made you to do business (Luke 2:49). Be creative, innovative and profit-oriented, especially for His glory and your reward will be eternal. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to succeed in my business
