  GOOD WILL Luke 2:8-14 Devotional:- “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (V. 14) NKJV A great blessing of God to humanity at the birth of Christ is goodwill. A nation without it is completely under bondage. They cannot claim, nor ask, nor can they have anything from the Lord except by the common grace (Matthew 5:25). This is what the sons of men are before the coming of the Messiah. Men have been living under the pressure and the punishment of sin and the law. Men were governed spiritually by the law they were never capable of obeying. When Jesus came, then came the time of grace. This brought us into the season of the goodwill of God (Ephesians 2:8). Will is what every father writes to give the right of inheritance to each of the children. Before Christ, God’s will was not approachable for men. It was not favorable for a natural man. Luke 15:8-10
Devotional Verse:-"Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?” (Vs. 8)

 

    Sometimes, when you hear about the population of the world, you wonder how God could listen and attend to everyone. The government of God is not like the Kingdom of men. Inadequacies in the nature of men can make it possible for anyone to be overlooked but it is not so with God.
    In the parable we read about today, Jesus said that if a man has ten silver coins and loses one, he would sweep every part of the room in search of that one until he finds it. When he eventually locates the lost coin, he would celebrate. This is because of the emotional pain he went through; in losing the coin and in laboring to locate it. This interprets how valuable you are to God.
 
    Every one of us on earth is very precious to Him. God says that He has your name inscribed on the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). He also says that, He knows the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30). As far as God is concerned, no one can actually be lost because His eyes are on every one. Going away from Him, gives Him an emotional discomfort. That was why He could give away His only son to save you (John 3:16). He loves you very much and really cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Receive grace to trust in His Love. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to always abide in your love
 
“NO ONE CAN TRULY LOVE YOU LIKE JESUS"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
