  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. UNIT VALUE                 

Luke 15:8-10
Devotional Verse:-"Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?” (Vs. 8)

 

    Sometimes, when you hear about the population of the world, you wonder how God could listen and attend to everyone. The government of God is not like the Kingdom of men. Inadequacies in the nature of men can make it possible for anyone to be overlooked but it is not so with God.
    In the parable we read about today, Jesus said that if a man has ten silver coins and loses one, he would sweep every part of the room in search of that one until he finds it. When he eventually locates the lost coin, he would celebrate. This is because of the emotional pain he went through; in losing the coin and in laboring to locate it. This interprets how valuable you are to God.
 
    Every one of us on earth is very precious to Him. God says that He has your name inscribed on the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). He also says that, He knows the number of hairs on your head (Matthew 10:30). As far as God is concerned, no one can actually be lost because His eyes are on every one. Going away from Him, gives Him an emotional discomfort. That was why He could give away His only son to save you (John 3:16). He loves you very much and really cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Receive grace to trust in His Love. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to always abide in your love
 
“NO ONE CAN TRULY LOVE YOU LIKE JESUS"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
