  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. THE RICH MAN AND LAZARUS

Luke1619-31
DevotionalVerse:- 'Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham,have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame'."  (Vs. 24)



   It is important we understand that there is a demarcation between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of this world which is of the devil. The Blessing of the Kingdom of God comes from God when one obeys Him (Deut. 28:1). But the blessings of the worldly kingdom come with deceiving and cheating one another. 

   The rich man whom Jesus was referring to in our text did not know the important of serving God with his wealth. Acquiring his wealth had cost him painful practices in all manner of gimmicks, so it was difficult for him to share with others. That was why he was not able to take care of the poor and he ended up in hell. Though Lazarus who was a citizen of the Kingdom of God was not knowledgeable enough to know how to make it in the things of this world, he ended up in heaven where Father Abraham is. The truth is that, you should not lack as a child of God but you should be rich toward God’s Kingdom (Luke 12:15-21).

     Friend whatever God gives you a privilege to access or attain, use it for His glory. That is when you can be sure that eternal reward is awaiting you in heaven. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to use all I have for your glory.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
