  OVERFLOWING PROSPERITY Zechariah 1:13-21 Devotional:- “Again proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "My cities shall again spread out through prosperity; The LORD will again comfort Zion, And will again choose Jerusalem'"” (V.17) NKJV At the end of the year, God intends to prosper and supply you with great and pleasant riches (Psalms 65:11). When someone is not prospering in life, everything about him will look odd. When a person is not prosperous, there are so many things responsible. It might be that he is not working in God’s knowledge and understanding; it could also be that he is not working in God’s covenant. This is paying your tithe, offering, blessing the poor, and taking care of your parent, children and men of God. It could also be that he is not faithful to his staff. THE RICH MAN AND LAZARUS

Luke1619-31
DevotionalVerse:- 'Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham,have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame'."  (Vs. 24)



   It is important we understand that there is a demarcation between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of this world which is of the devil. The Blessing of the Kingdom of God comes from God when one obeys Him (Deut. 28:1). But the blessings of the worldly kingdom come with deceiving and cheating one another. 

   The rich man whom Jesus was referring to in our text did not know the important of serving God with his wealth. Acquiring his wealth had cost him painful practices in all manner of gimmicks, so it was difficult for him to share with others. That was why he was not able to take care of the poor and he ended up in hell. Though Lazarus who was a citizen of the Kingdom of God was not knowledgeable enough to know how to make it in the things of this world, he ended up in heaven where Father Abraham is. The truth is that, you should not lack as a child of God but you should be rich toward God’s Kingdom (Luke 12:15-21).

     Friend whatever God gives you a privilege to access or attain, use it for His glory. That is when you can be sure that eternal reward is awaiting you in heaven. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to use all I have for your glory.

Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
