HOPING IN GOD

HOPING IN GOD Psalms 71:4-14  Devotional:- “For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth” (V.5) NKJV In today's world, many people are finding it difficult to put their hope in God. This is because they have waited for a few times, which to them is rather too long (Proverbs 13:12). And now they’ve made their calculation that if they have hoped in God for these three years and nothing is coming forth, then what is the need for continuing to hope? It is why many people in civilised nations have been living their lives unwilling to carry God along. We often forget that without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5). Everything we can do or shall do should be by His permission. The most common error among Christians is that we often don’t understand the power of hope or the difference between hope and faith. Hope is consistently keeping in mind the promises God has made to us, because we know He can do what He has promised (Hebrews 10:23). This helps us grow in wis...

LIVING ABOVE CONFUSION

LIVING ABOVE CONFUSION

James 3:13-18
Devotional Verse:-“For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there”  (Vs.16)

The kingdom of God is not a kingdom of confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). One of the greatest troubles in the life of people today is confusion. The goal of confusion is to cripple the mind of a man, prevent him from achieving the will of God for his life and establish hypertension in him.

Confusion is a product of conflicting information accessing the minds of men. Such information usually makes us uncertain about the possibility of our desires. In confusion, one is left with the fear of failure. One is left with the inability to place priority and make decisions. The original source of confusion is the devil.
The word of God says, where there is envy and self seeking, there will be confusion. This happens when a someone is no longer patient to observe the divine order or not patience to allow the will of God to be done.

To live above confusion, we must always be focused on the covenant promises of God. We must always be willing to let the will of God be done and not our selfish ambitions. Jesus was almost confused until He said: "Your will be done" (Luke 22:42, Hebrews 12:2). Always acknowledge God to know His will (Proverbs 3:5-6). Pray for His will to be done in your life always. Pray always in the Spirit to receive His direction for your life and you will live above confusion. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, I decree my victory over the spirit of confusion in Jesus' name
