  MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. THE REVEALED LIGHT                

Matt. 5:13-16
Devotional Verse:  "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house”  (Vs. 15)

    Light is a product of a generated energy. That is why it is not cheap to put on a light. For example, it will cost you buying a candle to have a candle light. That is why you will not put it on in hiding to just burn away. There is a purpose you intend it to serve and that is to illuminate the environment where you are in the time of darkness. It also costs God to giving us the Holy Spirit and teaching us His word for us to be called the light of the world.
 
    In this kingdom, God expects us to let our lives shine for the world to see (Matthew 5:16). This Light is our godly behaviour and attitude which portray the fruits of the Spirit of God in us (Gal. 5:22). God intends that His light in us will expose the darkness of this world, so that people can see the difference between following God and following the devil.
 
    That is why you must learn to always live the lifestyle of Christ. This light is reveal in us as we demonstrate the of love of God in this wicked world: joy in this sorrowful world, the hope of God’s word in this hopeless world, liberty of the Holy Spirit in this enslaving world, contentment in God’s provision in the anxious world and righteousness in this sinful world. As you do this, you will stand out in the world and the glory of God will be revealed in you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to stand out in the world for your glory
 
“DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT. IT MAKES YOU SPECIAL”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
