  HIS COMMANDMENTS Malachi 2:1-9 Devotional:- “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name," Says the LORD of hosts, "I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.” (v.2) NKJV If anyone will live continuously in a glorious and joyful life in this world, he must learn to obey this command. It is the only way to bring you to the level of right thinking for the right result. Ingratitude is a product of an irresponsible mind that is always expecting God to do everything for it. This is simply a religious mind. It is a refusal to show appreciation for those things God is doing in one’s life. It is complaining about what is yet to be in place in one's life. Such a person takes offence at God. He is embittered with the people who are making it around. In today’s scripture, not being grateful always attracts curses. THE REVEALED LIGHT                

Matt. 5:13-16
Devotional Verse:  "Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house”  (Vs. 15)

    Light is a product of a generated energy. That is why it is not cheap to put on a light. For example, it will cost you buying a candle to have a candle light. That is why you will not put it on in hiding to just burn away. There is a purpose you intend it to serve and that is to illuminate the environment where you are in the time of darkness. It also costs God to giving us the Holy Spirit and teaching us His word for us to be called the light of the world.
 
    In this kingdom, God expects us to let our lives shine for the world to see (Matthew 5:16). This Light is our godly behaviour and attitude which portray the fruits of the Spirit of God in us (Gal. 5:22). God intends that His light in us will expose the darkness of this world, so that people can see the difference between following God and following the devil.
 
    That is why you must learn to always live the lifestyle of Christ. This light is reveal in us as we demonstrate the of love of God in this wicked world: joy in this sorrowful world, the hope of God’s word in this hopeless world, liberty of the Holy Spirit in this enslaving world, contentment in God’s provision in the anxious world and righteousness in this sinful world. As you do this, you will stand out in the world and the glory of God will be revealed in you. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to stand out in the world for your glory
 
“DON’T BE AFRAID TO BE DIFFERENT. IT MAKES YOU SPECIAL”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.
