HOPE Psalm 42:1-11 Devotional:- “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God” (v.11) NKJV If any man will experience sustaining joy, he must first be hopeful. Hope is the strength of joy. Hope is the reason for the coming joy. It is an expectation according to the will of God. It is an assurance of a coming joy (Hebrews 12:2). It is also the strength of faith (Hebrews 11:1). If there is no hope, there may also not be joy, but a man of hope will continue in joy. Oftentimes, we observe the current happenings around us, and it looks like there is no hope. The truth is that current events are not the determining factor for our tomorrow. God’s word says we cannot compare the suffering of now to the glory that is coming (Romans 8:18). THE PLACE TO RECHARGE                 

Psalm 84:1-7
Devotional Verse:-“They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion”  (Vs. 7)


    The house of the Lord or the place of fellowship with the children of God is the place of strength. This is because it is in such places that the word of God is being spoken. The word of God says that where the word of a King is, there is power (Ecclesiastes 8:4). 
 
    Jesus said that the word of God is Spirit and life (John 6:63). You need to know that every word spoken to you contains the spirit of the person speaking. Information is the vehicle of the spirit. That is why whoever you listen to transfers his/her spirit to you (Ezekiel 2:2). Your life will sooner or later look like the one you always listen to (Proverbs 13:20). 
 
    In the house of God, servants of God speak the word by the spirit of God. Wherever this happens, the hearer will feel the heat in his  spirit man (Luke 24:32). When you always hear the word of God by the Holy Spirit, your strength will keep being recharged. The evidence of the recharge is a new hope that brings the joy of hope into your spirit man (Nehemiah 8:10). Friend, always be available in the house of God. It is your place to recharge your strength. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, restore your strength into my life by your word

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
