  SELF ENCOURAGEMENT Luke 15:11-24 Devotional:- “I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,” (v.18) NKJV So many people in the world today are groaning in sorrow under the pressure of challenges of life because they lack the wisdom of self-encouragement. The truth you have to accept is that there are not many people to encourage you in this world. More people and situations will discourage you. It is important that you know that joy is the fuel of your courage to achieve in life. So, you must learn to encourage yourself. If the prodigal son does not encourage himself, he will simply die in his sorrow. It is true he committed an error, yet he refused to be a victim of his error. He refused to die for his mistake. Do you know that failure is refusing to rise from falling? After all, we have seen babies who fall into gutters, yet their mother will pick them up, clean them, and they are still good babies. THE UNJUST STEWARD             

Luke 16:1-9
Devotional Verse:- “And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into an everlasting home.”  (Vs. 9)

    The parable in our Scripture for today teaches us so many lessons. It teaches us that we are stewards. A steward is a manager in charge of a business or an assignment. This teaches us that whatever we have comes from the Lord (Psalm 24:1, John 3:27). For this reason, we must use them consciously in the service of the master. 
 
    We also learn that we have to render our services to the Lord with the wisdom of God. In other words, we must be strategic, innovative and dynamic. The Holy Spirit is in us to help us. The servant in this parable of Jesus was wise in unfaithfulness towards his master, but we are called to be faithful (1 Corinthians 4:2).
 
    Jesus taught us to treat people well when it is well with us. This is because it is what we sow, that we will reap. When you have the privilege, use it to help as many people as you can especially in the family of God; the Church. The people you help today will be the ones to help you tomorrow. There is no man that cannot be in need at any time. But God will remember our seeds and help us. You have a secured future in Christ. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the heart to be a blessing

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
