  GOOD WILL Luke 2:8-14 Devotional:- “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (V. 14) NKJV A great blessing of God to humanity at the birth of Christ is goodwill. A nation without it is completely under bondage. They cannot claim, nor ask, nor can they have anything from the Lord except by the common grace (Matthew 5:25). This is what the sons of men are before the coming of the Messiah. Men have been living under the pressure and the punishment of sin and the law. Men were governed spiritually by the law they were never capable of obeying. When Jesus came, then came the time of grace. This brought us into the season of the goodwill of God (Ephesians 2:8). Will is what every father writes to give the right of inheritance to each of the children. Before Christ, God’s will was not approachable for men. It was not favorable for a natural man. SOCIAL BRIDGE             

Luke 19:1-10
Devotional Verse:- “And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house” (Vs. 5)

    In the Kingdom of men, there is always this mentality of social gap. This gap is always there because some people feel the moment they attain a particular status they can no longer relate with people of low status. This gap is a product of the fear of being attacked unduly by the people at the the lower cadre. The low level people also feel intimidated by the wealth of the so called rich people.
 
    In the Scripture for today, Jesus showed us that He has come to bridge the gap which socialism has created. As funny as it seems, this social gap has entered the church of Jesus. As wealthy as Zacchaeus was, he knew that he needed Jesus in his life. No matter our status in life, we have something in common; we need the help of God. Sometimes, the higher you are, the bigger the need.
 
    Jesus is willing to meet the needs of both the small and the mighty. The church is a family for all because Jesus is the saviour of all. So, feel free to seek Jesus irrespective of your status. He is able to meet your needs. He is above every need (John 3:27). As you seek Him with all your heart He will turn your life to a testimony. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, I thank you because you will meet all my needs today

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
