SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7). SOCIAL BRIDGE             

Luke 19:1-10
Devotional Verse:- “And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house” (Vs. 5)

    In the Kingdom of men, there is always this mentality of social gap. This gap is always there because some people feel the moment they attain a particular status they can no longer relate with people of low status. This gap is a product of the fear of being attacked unduly by the people at the the lower cadre. The low level people also feel intimidated by the wealth of the so called rich people.
 
    In the Scripture for today, Jesus showed us that He has come to bridge the gap which socialism has created. As funny as it seems, this social gap has entered the church of Jesus. As wealthy as Zacchaeus was, he knew that he needed Jesus in his life. No matter our status in life, we have something in common; we need the help of God. Sometimes, the higher you are, the bigger the need.
 
    Jesus is willing to meet the needs of both the small and the mighty. The church is a family for all because Jesus is the saviour of all. So, feel free to seek Jesus irrespective of your status. He is able to meet your needs. He is above every need (John 3:27). As you seek Him with all your heart He will turn your life to a testimony. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, I thank you because you will meet all my needs today
 
“IN CHRIST, THERE IS NO GAP”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
