  SETBACK Genesis 39:10-21 Devotional:- “Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison” (v.20) NKJV Most people do not yet understand that what we call a setback, a lot of time is a set-up to set us to our top. Setback, as viewed by people, is demotion, but it is rather an opportunity to retreat and re-fire for greater victory. When the purpose of a thing is not known, men are bound to abuse it. Today, we read about Joseph, who was thanking God for being promoted from a slave to a house overseer. He always tried to put his best into his assignment, and by this, he always had joy. At this time, the enemy wanted to damage his testimony by the temptation of sin, but he stood his ground for God (2 Timothy 2:22). But then he faced something like a demotion to prison. SOCIAL BRIDGE             

Luke 19:1-10
Devotional Verse:- “And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, "Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house” (Vs. 5)

    In the Kingdom of men, there is always this mentality of social gap. This gap is always there because some people feel the moment they attain a particular status they can no longer relate with people of low status. This gap is a product of the fear of being attacked unduly by the people at the the lower cadre. The low level people also feel intimidated by the wealth of the so called rich people.
 
    In the Scripture for today, Jesus showed us that He has come to bridge the gap which socialism has created. As funny as it seems, this social gap has entered the church of Jesus. As wealthy as Zacchaeus was, he knew that he needed Jesus in his life. No matter our status in life, we have something in common; we need the help of God. Sometimes, the higher you are, the bigger the need.
 
    Jesus is willing to meet the needs of both the small and the mighty. The church is a family for all because Jesus is the saviour of all. So, feel free to seek Jesus irrespective of your status. He is able to meet your needs. He is above every need (John 3:27). As you seek Him with all your heart He will turn your life to a testimony. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, I thank you because you will meet all my needs today

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
