SUCCESS YOUR PURPOSE 2 Timothy 4:1-8 Devotional:- “And now the prize awaits me-the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing” (V. 8) NLT When a person turns to the Lord, invite Jesus to his/her life, and surrender to Jesus as Lord and saviour, then he/she sincerely becomes a Christian. This is the state many in the church has not attained. Many struggle to surrender their lives to the Lord because they are afraid of failure, not able to trust God to give them success, and their love for the things of this world (1 John 2:15-17). When you sincerely surrender your life to Jesus Christ, your view of success cannot but change. Apostle Paul said, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful” (2 Timothy 4:7).  WICKED STEWARDS           

Luke 20:9-19
Devotional Verse:-“He will come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others." And when they heard it they said, "Certainly not!”  (Vs.16)

    The greatest evil anyone can do to him/herself is to reject the gospel of Jesus. There will be no hope in eternity for anyone who rejects so great a salvation that Jesus came to sacrifice His life for (Hebrews 2:3). 
 
    Today, a great number of people see the gospel as deception. So, they presume that people preaching the gospel are people without wisdom. Some of them even plan and kill people doing 'morning cry' (early morning evangelism). This is because they look at them as people without common sense. These are all devices of the devil against the gospel.
 
    Friend, the nature of the kingdom of the devil is to deceive the children of this world and turn them against the gospel of Jesus who came to save them (2 Corinthians 4:4) . All that you have is given to you by the Lord. You are merely a steward assigned to take care of things until the owner comes. Don’t mislead your children by living in an ungodly way. You are simply a manager for God (1 Corinthians 4:2). Show your family an example of godliness. Don’t sleep at home or travel on Sunday mornings while worship services go on in the church. Doing so, make people raise a family for the kingdom of the devil. When the owner (Jesus your master) comes, what will be your report? Refuse to be a worker of iniquity and you will not regret your eternity. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to be a faithful steward.
 
“EVERY STEWARD WILL SURELY GIVE ACCOUNT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
