HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

RENEWING YOUR STRENGTH

RENEWING YOUR STRENGTH

Isaiah 40:27-31
Devotional Verse: -“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint”  (Vs. 31)

As a child of God, please understand that your strength for all you may want to do is in God (Job 32:8, John 15:5). Sometimes, you discover that you are getting weak and discouraged. In most cases, the weakness of life often starts from one's spiritual weakness. You may discover that you can no longer pray as you used to. You may also find out that, as you read your Bible and other books, the contents just seem like they are written in Greek language that you cannot understand. At such times, you need to renew your strength.

Having understood that your strength is in God, you must always return to Him (Hosea 6:1-3). The reason for the dryness is your distance from the God of strength. Though we regularly go to church, we allow anxiety and worry to drain our strength in God. That is why the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). To wait on the Lord is to seek to receive a word from Him (Ezekiel 2:2). It is His word that transmits the strength of the Spirit to us (John 6:63).

To wait on the Lord, you need to retreat and have a personal time with God (Proverbs 18:1). At such times, pick up your Bible and other books of faith to study and meditate on the word of God. Also separate yourself to pray, then your strength will be rekindled and renewed. Then the grace of God will be multiplied in  your spirit for greater achievements for His kingdom. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, let there be a rekindling of your strength in me

“WHEN YOUR STRENGTH IS RENEWED, YOU ARE FIRED UP FOR GREATNESS”
