  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. LOVE YOUR ENEMY                

Matthew 5:43-48
Devotional Verse:-"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute yo”  (Vs. 44)

    It is important that you realize the great difference between the Kingdom of the devil and that of God. We are born into this world, but through salvation that was given to us by Christ Jesus, we have been transmitted from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light which is the kingdom of God (Col. 1:13). 
 
    The greatest attitude of the kingdom was taught by Jesus in our Scripture for today: “We should love our enemies”. Jesus says, there is no difference between us as believers and unbelievers if we only love our friends and those who love us. If you only give to those who will give back to you, then you are not entitled to any reward from God.
 
    How do we then love our enemies? We can do this is by being ready to forgive whoever offends us regularly (Matthew 18:21-22). When we forgive others, God will also forgive us. This is by having the kingdom mindset that whatever you do, you do it unto God who is your rewarder (1 Cor. 15:58, Heb.11:6). If you can pray for your enemies, then it means you’ve truly forgiven them. All these are possible because of the Spirit of God is in us and not just the spirit of man. It is by doing this that, we are identified as children of God indeed. Receive grace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to love notwithstanding.
 
“IT IS AS YOU KEEP SOWING LOVE THAT YOU KEEP REAPING IT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
