  STAND IN 1 Timothy 2:1-7  Devotional:- “Here are my directions: Pray much for others; plead for God's mercy upon them; give thanks for all he is going to do for them.” (v.1) TLB . When God lifts a man, such a man must have enjoyed the intercessory ministry of others. It is part of the principle of God for us to receive (Matthew 7:7). This is because He does not want to break into our free will and damage our choice. He does not want to break into our decision. That is why we say it sometimes when an event happens, "Did God not see it?” Until He is asked to do something, He finds it difficult to do it. Rather, if He wants to promote a man and the man is not aware, He will touch other people to pray for him.  That is why you and I must also be willing to pray and stand in the gap for others. LOVE YOUR ENEMY                

Matthew 5:43-48
Devotional Verse:-"But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute yo”  (Vs. 44)

    It is important that you realize the great difference between the Kingdom of the devil and that of God. We are born into this world, but through salvation that was given to us by Christ Jesus, we have been transmitted from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light which is the kingdom of God (Col. 1:13). 
 
    The greatest attitude of the kingdom was taught by Jesus in our Scripture for today: “We should love our enemies”. Jesus says, there is no difference between us as believers and unbelievers if we only love our friends and those who love us. If you only give to those who will give back to you, then you are not entitled to any reward from God.
 
    How do we then love our enemies? We can do this is by being ready to forgive whoever offends us regularly (Matthew 18:21-22). When we forgive others, God will also forgive us. This is by having the kingdom mindset that whatever you do, you do it unto God who is your rewarder (1 Cor. 15:58, Heb.11:6). If you can pray for your enemies, then it means you’ve truly forgiven them. All these are possible because of the Spirit of God is in us and not just the spirit of man. It is by doing this that, we are identified as children of God indeed. Receive grace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to love notwithstanding.
