MAKING GOD HAPPY

MAKING GOD HAPPY Numbers 6:22-27 Devotional:- “May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you” (V. 25 NLT) One of the goals of our life is to make God happy. This is because the goal of worship is to make God happy. A man can make God happy when he pleases the Lord in all His ways. Job was a man who pleases the Lord in his life time (Job 1:8). Noah was another man who also pleased God in his generation (Genesis 6:8). We are living for the glory of God when we live to make God happy by pleasing the Him. To make God happy, we must love Him supremely (Luke 14:26). No one loved us as God does. He knows what no one knows about us that is why we must love Him more than ALL. It is possible to love God supremely when we relate closely with Him (Hosea 6:6; Matthew 22:37-38; Genesis 6:9). To make God happy, we must learn to trust Him completely. Noah trusted Him and built an arc even on a dry land (Hebrew 11:7). Though, he had never seen rain before yet believed God and trusted Him compl...

THE STRENGTH OF LIFE

THE STRENGTH OF LIFE

Genesis 2:1-7
Devotional Verse:- “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Vs. 7)

God made man in the beginning in His own image and likeness. Since God is a Spirit, it should be clear enough for you to know that man is also a spirit being (John 4:24). If man is therefore going to gain strength, then he must trace his way back to God who is his source.

In our Scripture for today, we see that God molded man just like a clayed image. You will agree with me that without the breath of God, there is nothing the clay can do by itself. In Genesis chapter two and verse seven, God breathed into the nostril of that molded image and it came alive. That was one of the first miracle of God.

Friend, please understand that the true strength of life is when you receive the breath of God which is the Holy Spirit. When people are filled with the Holy Spirit, they become great potentials in the hand of God. Jesus told the disciples that they would only be able after they had been baptized in the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). It's important you set quality time aside to fellowship in the presence of God and ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:13). When you receive it, the best of you will start to manifest (Job 32:8). Peace!

Prayer: Lord, baptize me with the Holy Spirit.

“IT WILL TAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE INTELLIGENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS”
