TIME OF CELEBRATION

TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. THE STRENGTH OF LIFE

THE STRENGTH OF LIFE

Genesis 2:1-7
Devotional Verse:- “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Vs. 7)

God made man in the beginning in His own image and likeness. Since God is a Spirit, it should be clear enough for you to know that man is also a spirit being (John 4:24). If man is therefore going to gain strength, then he must trace his way back to God who is his source.

In our Scripture for today, we see that God molded man just like a clayed image. You will agree with me that without the breath of God, there is nothing the clay can do by itself. In Genesis chapter two and verse seven, God breathed into the nostril of that molded image and it came alive. That was one of the first miracle of God.

Friend, please understand that the true strength of life is when you receive the breath of God which is the Holy Spirit. When people are filled with the Holy Spirit, they become great potentials in the hand of God. Jesus told the disciples that they would only be able after they had been baptized in the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). It's important you set quality time aside to fellowship in the presence of God and ask for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 4:13). When you receive it, the best of you will start to manifest (Job 32:8). Peace!

Prayer: Lord, baptize me with the Holy Spirit.

“IT WILL TAKE THE HOLY SPIRIT TO BE INTELLIGENT IN RIGHTEOUSNESS”
