PROTECT YOUR HEART Proverbs 4:20-27 Devotional:- “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” (V. 23) NLT Everyone is born with a strength capable of rising to greatness. In every growing child is a seed of greatness. It is this strength that makes the youth so creative and energetic. That is why each young person looks at the future with great hope. The enemy tries to destroy this strength. As strong as many started in life, not many could strike the chord of success because their strength was destroyed.

LIVING A JOYFUL LIFE
John 15:9-17 Devotional Verse:- "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full” (Vs. 11)
It's amazing to know that Jesus choose us to love us (John 15:16). He selected us when we were not even aware. He sacrificed Himself on the cross and brought us unto Himself by redeeming us with His blood (Revelation 5:9). What a great love!
In our Scripture for today, we see that Jesus gave us the secret of a joyful life. A joyful life comes when we abide in His love. How do we abide in His love? We do this by yielding to His instructions always (John 15:10). By doing this, Jesus said that we shall live a joyful life. When we love one another, we become the friends of Jesus (John 15:14). To be called a friend of Jesus is a rare position. Only few people were called the friends of God in the Old Testament.
Friend, we have an open cheque to enter a life of joy. Let us yield to His love so that we might live a life of joy in this sorrowful world. As friends of Jesus, we will have access to all His blessings. Jesus said that He and His father will dwell in us. What a great opportunity! Give Jesus a chance to show you His love and you will live a great life forever. It's a new day!
Prayer: Lord, help me to choose to obey you in all situations.
“FRIENDLINESS WITH GOD PRODUCES A LIFE FULL OF JOY”
THE GRACIOUS Exodus 34:1-8 Devotional:- “…The Lord, the Lord a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundance in goodness and truth” (V.6) AMPL For believers of this Generation to have the fullness of heaven as the word of God promised, they will need to have the right understanding of who our God is. It is the wrong concept of God that has limited the exploitation of Christians and made many lives wrongly. God’s word says those who know their God shall be strong (Daniel 11:32). If you will be stronger than your challenges you must know your God.
ONLY THE VICTORS Revelation 21:1-8 Devotional:- “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son” (v. 7) NKJV In this part of the world, many are not so used to taking responsibility over challenges. Instead of been proactive to foresee and prevent issues, people are used to looking out for whom to blame and who should help out (Proverbs 14:23). It is vivid that we are in a challenging season. It is also clear that we are drawing closer to the end of the age.
ALTERNATIVES II Kings 5:1-15 Devotional:- “Are not the Abanah and the Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage”. (V12) NKJV It is always the trick of the devil to make us lose sight of God. So he often makes us see alternatives to God. His own goal is to take people away from God. The enemies so much make his way look easy and quick but with eternal implications. That is why you need to grow your faith and not yield to his tricks. The devil’s alternative will always be with covenants that bind into darkness.
