  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. LUKEWARMNESS

LUKEWARMNESS               

Revelation 3:14-17
Devotional Verse:- “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth” (Vs. 16)

    The nature of the kingdom of God does not give room for lukewarmness. Some people always love to sit on the fence.  They do not want to be close to God or the church, so that they can easily bend with the world whenever they want to. The truth which man needs to know is that, there is no middle way kingdom. A man is either in the kingdom of the devil or that of God.
 
    In our Scripture for today, Jesus said that lukewarm people shall be vomited. This means, they shall not be allowed into the kingdom of God. This shows that whenever you sit on the fence, you automatically position yourself in the kingdom of the devil.
 
    Friend, make up your mind for God. There is nothing good in darkness. Don’t lose your soul to the devil because of social relevance. Choose whom you will serve, whether God or the devil. (Josh. 24:15). Be careful about distancing your children from God, when they grow up may they know God again. Much is awaiting you in God. Just make up your mind. Peace!
 
PRAYER: Lord, no one will serve the devil in my home in Jesus name

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
