  JOY IN TRUSTING GOD Proverbs 16:16-26 Devotional:- “He who heeds the word wisely will find good, And whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he” (V. 20) NKJV Living in doubts, fears, and anxieties cause sadness and sorrows in the lives of people. Sometimes it’s so bad that it leads to depression and ill health. One of the reasons for this is often our inability to trust God in times of need. Whenever there is a delay in our expectations, we easily struggle with our relationship with God.  But when a man trusts in the Lord, he will not see the troubles around, he will only see the promises of God that can never fail; and that will bring great joy, peace and happiness. People around him will wonder what is giving him such joy even in the face of imminent challenges. Beloved God loves you. He cares about you. He has promised to help you (Isaiah 41:10). BURN THE BRIDGE                 

Matthew 19:16-26
Devotional Verse: -“Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."”  (Vs. 21)

    In the nature of the kingdom of God, everyone who want to be part must be total with God. Human beings are always looking for the way to play safe in life. So, many are always playing smartness with God. Each one who will have the full package in God must burn the bridge behind them.
 
    A man came to Jesus, seeking to secure his eternity with God. He has actually been a true keeper of the law all his life, but not with a total heart. To be total with God we must live in the purpose of God for our lives. We must know that all that we have, belong to Him and it must be used for His glory (Psalms 24:1, Matthew 16:25). We must be committed to the family of God, the church for our growth (Hebrews 10:25). You must humble yourself to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to reform you as you learn the word of God (Romans 12:1-2). It is by been willing to help and bless others with what God has given us (Genesis 12:2). This is by joyfully sharing the word of God with others to win their souls to the Lord (Matthew 28:19-20). 
 
    Friend, you need to know that standing on the fence is a pointer to failure. It is either you are choosing Jesus or other god. Lukewarm life have no place in the kingdom of God (Revelation 3:15-16). Don’t think you want to be a little worldly and a little godly. That means, you have not decided totally for God. Many people live all their lives and never decided for God, they die that way and people think they are Christians. They are not useful for God nor for the devil. Make up your mind to follow the Lord. And you will be a true disciple of Jesus. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to  be total with you

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
