  DON’T HATE Matthew 5:43-48  Devotional:- “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,” (V. 44) NKJV The subject of love is not always easy to practise between you, and those who have shown themselves as committed enemies. Those who will openly stand against you. Those who just hate you for no reason. Those who don’t pray that anything good should happen to you. Yet the Bible gave us a commandment in the midst of it all to love and never to hate them. What a great task! But until a Christian grows to this level, he cannot actually be called mature. The way to handle it is that we should bless those who curse us. Always do good to those who hate you. If they are moved by the spirit in them to do evil to you, be moved by the Spirit in you to love them. We cannot truly say we love till we can prayerfully demonstrate the character of love. BURN THE BRIDGE                 

Matthew 19:16-26
Devotional Verse: -“Jesus said to him, "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."”  (Vs. 21)

    In the nature of the kingdom of God, everyone who want to be part must be total with God. Human beings are always looking for the way to play safe in life. So, many are always playing smartness with God. Each one who will have the full package in God must burn the bridge behind them.
 
    A man came to Jesus, seeking to secure his eternity with God. He has actually been a true keeper of the law all his life, but not with a total heart. To be total with God we must live in the purpose of God for our lives. We must know that all that we have, belong to Him and it must be used for His glory (Psalms 24:1, Matthew 16:25). We must be committed to the family of God, the church for our growth (Hebrews 10:25). You must humble yourself to cooperate with the Holy Spirit to reform you as you learn the word of God (Romans 12:1-2). It is by been willing to help and bless others with what God has given us (Genesis 12:2). This is by joyfully sharing the word of God with others to win their souls to the Lord (Matthew 28:19-20). 
 
    Friend, you need to know that standing on the fence is a pointer to failure. It is either you are choosing Jesus or other god. Lukewarm life have no place in the kingdom of God (Revelation 3:15-16). Don’t think you want to be a little worldly and a little godly. That means, you have not decided totally for God. Many people live all their lives and never decided for God, they die that way and people think they are Christians. They are not useful for God nor for the devil. Make up your mind to follow the Lord. And you will be a true disciple of Jesus. Peace!
 
Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to  be total with you

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
