HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

OVERCOMING NEGATIVE THINKING

OVERCOMING NEGATIVE THINKING

Proverbs 23:1-8
Devotional Verse:- "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, But his heart is not with you”  (Vs. 7)

One of the habits many people battle with in life is the habit of negative thinking. This is an area where the devil has made many slaves. Though they don't like it, they just must make do with it. The moment they are alone, they engage in thoughts that give them a defeated mentality. Thinking actually exercises the mind. That is why it is normal for your mind to think because this is how it (the mind) is exercised.  Whether your thoughts are negative or positive is what you have to work on.

Positive thinking involves thinking productively. This (positive thinking) is done when we look through our minds for the appropriate approach to embark on our businesses or assignments. This is a good one. Negative thinking on the other hand, comes when we are driven into deep observations of our challenges. This happens often when we allow our minds to be idle.

Our Scripture for today says that our lives move towards the areas of our thoughts. So, you need to overcome negative thinking for a positive life. This can be achieved if you consciously get your mind engaged in positive, possible and progressive assignments either for God or for your business progress. Just as you set time aside to pray, set time aside to engage in productive thinking. Always exercise your mind on the word of God and be available wherever the word of God is shared (Proverbs 13:20). Then you will be mentally strong for a victorious life. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to be committed to progressive thinking
