THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. LISTENING TO GOD

Listening To God | Devotional Reading Plan | YouVersion BibleScripture Reading: Deuteronomy 18:15-22

Devotional:
“I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him” (V. 18)

Whenever we are in the presence of God alone, God will speak to us. That is why we must allow the ear of our spirit to be open to God. Being in the presence of God is for communication between us and God. So, as we speak our mind to Him, He also wants to speak His mind to us. The challenge is that many often want to pour out their mind to God, but they do not have the gift of listening.

The word of God told us that a true prophet will hear from God and speak to the people. Please don’t limit this only to the ministry of a prophet. This is for all children of God. Any time we are in His presence, He will want to speak to us. That is why you must learn to listen.

He said ask and I will answer (Matthew 7:7). So, there is time to ask and there is time to listen in His presence. To enjoy the opening of your spiritual ear, you must learn to communicate with Him in the language of the Holy Spirit with a heart of understanding. As you do this, the two ways will be opened. God can hear you and you can hear Him. You will speak and God will speak. This is the way to open up a time of conversation between you and your God (John 12:27-30). Then you will be refreshed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, let the ears of my spirit be open to you
“WHEN YOU CAN HEAR FROM GOD, ALL MEN WILL LISTEN TO YOU”
