HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

BEHOLD HIS GLORY

Behold His Glory: John 1:14-18Scripture Reading: John 1:6-14
Devotional: “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth” (V. 14)
One of the ways to have a quality time in the presence of God is to learn to behold the glory of the Lord (Exodus 33:17-19). Whenever you are personally in His presence, His glory will always overwhelm you. This is very important because the devil don’t want you to have a time in the presence of God. Therefore, the way he can discourage you is by making you to see fearful and negative things. The devil knows that the moment you start to enjoy the presence of the Lord, you are free from him. That is why you must bring the scripture alive through imagination.
The word of God described Jesus as glorious and Apostle John described Him the glory they saw (Luke 9:29). That the exact thing King David was talking about when he said “he set the Lord before him” (Psalms 16:8). The disciples saw Him on the transfiguration hill and they saw His glory (Luke 9:29).
Friend, you need this scripture to help you when you want to be alone with Him. Beholding His glory makes all your mountains to disappear even when you have not prayed (Psalms 97:5; Micah 1:4). That is why the disciples said, they cannot but talk about it (1 John 1:1). They have seen His glory. From today, you will start to see the glory of the Lord. All your mountains will melt away in Jesus name. Peace.
PRAYER: Lord, open my eye to always see you glory around me
