  APPRECIATE HIM Psalms 136:1-9  Devotional:- “Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” (V.1) NKJV Most people have not started to enjoy God to the maximum. because they have not fully imbibed the wisdom of appreciation. No relationship will be able to survive for a long time if the spirit of appreciation is not imbibed. Can you imagine that you plan to buy something for someone you love, though you do not have the means but embarked on saving towards it. At last you successfully get the gift, rapped it beautifully with a rapper and present it to your friend. All that your friend did was to receive it and just say, “That is good,” in a frowning way. And he started talking about something else to make you forget about the gift. You will feel disappointed and almost regret your effort. This and others are what most men do to God. WAITING ON THE LORD

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:21-31

Devotional Verse –
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (V. 31)

The prosperity of a child of God has so many roots in the act of waiting on the Lord. This is because the strength of man will fail at a certain point, but the strength of God cannot fail. So, allowing Him to be the source of our strength is wisdom. When you are not depending on the devil to prosper or following his dubious ways, he will look for every way to discourage you. That is why our strength should not be in ourselves but in God (1 Samuel 2:9).



The act of waiting on the Lord is the act of separating time from time to time to receive divine direction from God. His ways are the ways of strength. Strength herefore, is the ability to keep prospering even when your own strength can no more cope. Waiting on the Lord is a product of having time daily like 30 minutes or an hour. Sometimes it could be made weekly or monthly affair, to separate oneself in a day or two just to be in His presence for direction.

In such times, God shows us the way to go to resolve our confusion and to solve our problems (Isaiah 48:17, Psalms 32:8-9). In this way, we fellowship with divine ideas as we fellowship in His presence (Act 13:1-2). That way we keep knowing the way forward and our strength is renewed to continue to prosper. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always wait on you
“THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH, DETERMINES YOUR ABILITY FOR CONTINUITY”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
