  HIS COMMANDMENTS Malachi 2:1-9 Devotional:- “If you will not hear, And if you will not take it to heart, To give glory to My name," Says the LORD of hosts, "I will send a curse upon you, And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have cursed them already, Because you do not take it to heart.” (v.2) NKJV If anyone will live continuously in a glorious and joyful life in this world, he must learn to obey this command. It is the only way to bring you to the level of right thinking for the right result. Ingratitude is a product of an irresponsible mind that is always expecting God to do everything for it. This is simply a religious mind. It is a refusal to show appreciation for those things God is doing in one’s life. It is complaining about what is yet to be in place in one's life. WAITING ON THE LORD

Scripture Reading: Isaiah 40:21-31

Devotional Verse –
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint” (V. 31)

The prosperity of a child of God has so many roots in the act of waiting on the Lord. This is because the strength of man will fail at a certain point, but the strength of God cannot fail. So, allowing Him to be the source of our strength is wisdom. When you are not depending on the devil to prosper or following his dubious ways, he will look for every way to discourage you. That is why our strength should not be in ourselves but in God (1 Samuel 2:9).



The act of waiting on the Lord is the act of separating time from time to time to receive divine direction from God. His ways are the ways of strength. Strength herefore, is the ability to keep prospering even when your own strength can no more cope. Waiting on the Lord is a product of having time daily like 30 minutes or an hour. Sometimes it could be made weekly or monthly affair, to separate oneself in a day or two just to be in His presence for direction.

In such times, God shows us the way to go to resolve our confusion and to solve our problems (Isaiah 48:17, Psalms 32:8-9). In this way, we fellowship with divine ideas as we fellowship in His presence (Act 13:1-2). That way we keep knowing the way forward and our strength is renewed to continue to prosper. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always wait on you
“THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH, DETERMINES YOUR ABILITY FOR CONTINUITY”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
