CHOICE OF JOY Acts 16:20-30 Devotional:- “But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.” (V.25) NKJV So many people in this world have not woken up to the fact that the way they live is their choice. One of the greatest errors is to think that the situation a man finds himself, is the determining factor of his life. This is not true. Please come to an awareness of this truth from now on: that you are living as you have chosen to live. Get to know that you are a creature of choice. Whatever your choice is, that is your lot. God chooses no evil for anyone in life (Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you are happy or not, whether you are rich or not, whether you are healthy or not, it is your choice; if you decide otherwise from now and stand by your decision, things will change for you. Devotional Verse – V. 18

Our God is a God who can reverse famine season to a season of abundant. That is why you must not give up your faith in His ability to prosper you. What look expensive can become so surplus in your life. God can make what is unavoidable to become cheep for you. He can turn the situation around for you and bless you to be able to afford what you can’t imagine that you can access. 

The city of Samaria was in a time of famine because the enemy besiege her. Whatever fenced your blessing away from you shall be destroyed in Jesus name. So, the people of God could not go to farm either to plant or to harvest. It got so terrible that women were killing their children for food. But God spoke through the man of God that the situation will change the following morning. This look unbelievable but it was so. 

Friend, I decree that your situation will change for good in Jesus name. Don’t doubt God. He is bigger than all mountain. His word is powerful (Hebrews 4:12). His word has the ability to come to pass. He always watch over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Don’t give up your faith in God. If Abraham could believe Him for that long, please believe Him (Romans 4:18-20). Before the close of this year God will turn your story around for greatness in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to believe you for my prosperity

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
