  OUR REDEEMER Colossians 2:9-18  Devotional:- “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.”(V. 14) No life living under the power of curses can by any means prosper. This is because curses have the power to destroy the strength to prosper. When it is said that a man is cursed, it means a word was spoken to him, and this word follows him to pull him down wherever he goes. You need to know that the Word often became flesh to follow people (John 1:14). So it often stands as a spirit assigned to follow men about. So when a man is cursed, it is under a monitoring spirit that destroys his help, favour and success. But we have this great love of God demonstrated to us in Christ Jesus. Jesus came to redeem us from the curses ofthe law. In other words, He has come to set us free from the slavery of sin and Satan. To redeem means to set free or buy back from the slave market. Devotional Verse – V. 18

Our God is a God who can reverse famine season to a season of abundant. That is why you must not give up your faith in His ability to prosper you. What look expensive can become so surplus in your life. God can make what is unavoidable to become cheep for you. He can turn the situation around for you and bless you to be able to afford what you can’t imagine that you can access. 

The city of Samaria was in a time of famine because the enemy besiege her. Whatever fenced your blessing away from you shall be destroyed in Jesus name. So, the people of God could not go to farm either to plant or to harvest. It got so terrible that women were killing their children for food. But God spoke through the man of God that the situation will change the following morning. This look unbelievable but it was so. 

Friend, I decree that your situation will change for good in Jesus name. Don’t doubt God. He is bigger than all mountain. His word is powerful (Hebrews 4:12). His word has the ability to come to pass. He always watch over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Don’t give up your faith in God. If Abraham could believe Him for that long, please believe Him (Romans 4:18-20). Before the close of this year God will turn your story around for greatness in Jesus name. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, help me to believe you for my prosperity

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
