  FORGIVING YOURSELF Luke 22:54-62  Devotional:- “So Peter went out and wept bitterly.bitterly.” (V.62) NKJV Before a man can begin to enjoy the expressive love of God in his life, he must learn the act of self-forgiveness. Self-condemnation is always a terrible permission for the devil to take over in the life of a believer. This can make him lose his self-worth in God’s presence. It can make a believer lose his authority in Christ. It can make a believer lose his joy and build an environment of sorrow. And you need to know that the environment of sorrow removes from you the presence of God. He only dwells where there is fullness of joy (Psalms 16:11). Unforgiveness can make a man build an atmosphere of fear and then permit the presence of demons. This also breeds discouragement and frustration and makes the life of its victim miserable. Our God is a God who can reverse famine season to a season of abundant. That is why you must not give up your faith in His ability to prosper you. What look expensive can become so surplus in your life. God can make what is unavoidable to become cheep for you. He can turn the situation around for you and bless you to be able to afford what you can’t imagine that you can access. 

The city of Samaria was in a time of famine because the enemy besiege her. Whatever fenced your blessing away from you shall be destroyed in Jesus name. So, the people of God could not go to farm either to plant or to harvest. It got so terrible that women were killing their children for food. But God spoke through the man of God that the situation will change the following morning. This look unbelievable but it was so. 

Friend, I decree that your situation will change for good in Jesus name. Don’t doubt God. He is bigger than all mountain. His word is powerful (Hebrews 4:12). His word has the ability to come to pass. He always watch over His word to perform it (Jeremiah 1:12). Don’t give up your faith in God. If Abraham could believe Him for that long, please believe Him (Romans 4:18-20). Before the close of this year God will turn your story around for greatness in Jesus name. Peace!

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
