ACKNOWLEDGING HIM

ACKNOWLEDGING HIM Proverbs 3:1-8  Devotional:- “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (v.6) KJV. To be able to enjoy God’s loving kindness, all of us must learn to always acknowledge God in all our decision-making. This simply means that we recognise Him as our owner and the one who is qualified to instruct us on where to turn. When we gave our lives to Christ, we all confessed Jesus as our Lord. This means we acknowledge Him as the one who has the final decision over our lives. But we often forget to carry Him along in making decisions that will, in the end, have a great adverse effect on our lives. If we are to enjoy the love and the goodness of the Lord, we must learn to acknowledge Him. And this is by patiently asking Him for His instructions for us. The truth is that He will always guide us. He said, “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye” (Psalms 32:8). The truth is that you are gu...

LIVING SACRIFICE

Living Sacrifice Title Still | twelve:thirty media | WorshipHouse ...LIVING SACRIFICE
Romans 12:1-9
Devotional Verse – V. 1

As good as it is for man to prosper, as much as it can be a trap if it is not manage by the wisdom of the Lord. Money have the tendency to replace the place of God in the life of a man (Matthew 6:24). It has the power to make a man think he made by himself and become proud (Daniel 4:28-33). That is why, when a man don’t submit to God before handling wealth, there is a tendency to highly be ungodly with wealth. This is the reason God want us to be a living sacrifice unto Him.

A sacrifice is an animal that is kelled on the alter as ritual. A living sacrifice is the one that is not kelled by already used as a ritual or a sacrifice it no longer belong to it own will but follow the will of the God. The word of God says you should give yourself to God as a living sacrifice to God. How? The word of God says we have been crucified with Christ (Galatians 2:20). So we should recon ourselves sacrifice with Jesus on the cross (Romans 6:1-7). So also we are raised with Him but no longer to be what we use to be but now totally belonging to God. We have to put off the old man and put on the new man (Ephesians 4:22-24).

To do this we have to unlearn the custom and culture of this world. We have to be renewed in our mind by studying the way of God through the word of God (Psalms 119:11, Joshua 1:8). Then our way of thinking and acting will be changed to asking for His instruction always (Proverbs 3:5-6). This will always lead us to obey Him in righteousness as a living sacrifice. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to be humble to live only onto you
