HOW SERVANTS THINK

HOW SERVANTS THINK Numbers 14:11-25 Devotional:- “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it” (V. 24).   To be a servant requires complete mental shift and change in attitude. Before God, attitude count more than achievement (2 Chronicles 25:2). So, when we look at how real servants think, they think more about others than themselves. Humility is not thinking less of ourselves but thinking of ourselves less (Philippians 2:4). Jesus takes the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7). We can measure our servant’s heart by how we respond when others treat us as servants. Real servants think like a steward and not owner. They keep in mind that God owns it all.  To become a real servant you’ve got to settle the issue of money in your life (Luke 16:13). Please understand that money has a great potential to replace God in our heart. When Jesus is your master...

WATER WITHOUT RAIN

Teach me Father when I pray not to ask for more but rather let me ...WATER WITHOUT RAIN
 2 Kings 3:10-20
Devotional Verse – V. 20

Water is so vital to life. Even the life stock cannot do without it. Water here could represent different things for different people in different careers and business. For some it might be finance. For others it might be personnel. For some people it might be raw materials and for others it might be customers or sales. To others it might be connection to the market.

All of this are vital to the prosperity and progress of a business. The king of Israel was in a battle with the Moabites. He joined align with other nation and they were three nations combine. They travel for several days to the battle field without water and that was becoming a concern. They could not think of how to get water for the troop because rain was not coming forth. But the king of Judah remember that they need to ask God for direction to the solution and there was water without rain nor bore hole.

Friend, the reason most business collapse is because they could not solve the problem confronting them. When you get to the end of the road, please remember that Jesus is the way out of ever trouble (John 14:6). You will always need Him. So, learn His ways and how to connect with Him for solutions. Locate books on this and you will become wise. You will prosper even in most difficult times. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, teach me to always hear you for direction to solutions.
