VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

Devotional Verse: V. 17

Someone said when purpose is not known abuse is inevitable. That is, if we don’t find out the purpose for any of the blessing of the Lord we may likely misuse them. When a blessing is misused, it can be removed. When people misuse the blessing of God He will orchestrate the removal of the blessing (Luke 15:13). That is why God want His children to understand the purpose of prosperity before they access it.


The word of God shows us how God desire to restore His people. The Lord says the instrument of His restoration is prosperty. So the essence of prosperity is that God’s plan and agenda will be fulfilled. It is when God want to execute His plans that He prospers His people. The truth is that God cannot bless you and you will not enjoy part of the goodies. Yet, this does not remove the fact that God’s project should not be forgotten else that will be the last prosperity in t he hand of any one.


That is why it is important you don’t distance yourself from God when you prosper but make sure you locate and do the will of God. Especially in caring for your family, the family of God, men of God and the ministry of the poor. Be sure you are faithful to God in all things. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to walk in your purpose always.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
