HE NEVER CONDEMNS

HE NEVER CONDEMNS John 8:1-11  Devotional:- “She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”” (V. 11) NKJV One of the tricks the devil often used against man is to make us feel condemned. To be condemned is a feeling of self-judgment. It is the act of judging oneself to death when God has not. A man with condemnation cannot be bold or courageous. He cannot exercise faith. He cannot take a risk and so cannot find it easy to succeed. The truth is that God does not condemn man. So it is like man to feel condemned, and it is the handiwork of the devil. It was said about Jesus, “for God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but that through Him might be saved” (John 3:17).  God has appointed Jesus to judge the earth. But that is not now. Condemnation is a feeling that one has been written off and is not worthy of living anymore. The only people who will face God’s final condemnation are those who refused to...

SPIRIT CONNECTION

Scripture Reading: Job 32:1-9

Devotional Verse –
“But there is a spirit within people, the breath of the Almighty within them, that makes them intelligent” (V. 8)

Man in his nature can only see the physical things but perceive spiritual things. Most people have little or no understanding of the affairs of the spirit. Man needs to realize that he is not just spiritual, but he is a spirit made in likeness of God who is a Spirit (Genesis 1:20-27). It is important we know that man receives from God through his spirit (John 3:27).

The word of God says there is a spirit in every man but it is the breath of God that gives them understanding. This talks about the impact of the Spirit in the life of every man. It is by our spirit that we can connect with God because He is a Spirit (John 4:24). We can therefore receive the ability to prosper by His breath on us. His breath on us comes to inspire our mind to action. Our understanding becomes receptive to information as the spirit breathe on us (Ephesians 1:17-18). This is how God empower us to prosper.

We will be able to connect with God for this ability to prosper as we fellowship in His presence regularly. This should be mostly personal time with God alone or with the church (Psalms 84:7). That is why each of us as children of God should not joke with the issue of fellowship with God. It is for us to contact revelation for the strength of the spirit. This in turn makes us intelligence to prosper. Peace!

PRAYER: Lord, help me to enjoy the blessing of your Spirit
“YOU ARE HELPLESS WITHOUT THE HELP OF THE SPIRIT”
