  FORMED FOR GODS FAMILY Hebrews 2:5-18 Devotional:- “For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings” (V. 10) The second major purpose of your creation is that you are formed for Gods family (1 John 3:1) God wants a family and he wanted you to be a part of it. The entire bible is full of the story of God building a family that will love him, honor and reign with him forever (Ephesians 1:5) NLT. God is love, so he cherish relationship (1 John 4:7-8). The nature of God is relational and that is why He identifies himself in fatherly terms; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. When we turn to the Lord and give our lives to Jesus Christ, God becomes or Father we become His children, other believers become our brothers and sisters and the church becomes our spiritual family. Deuteronomy 8:10-20

Devotional Verse – V. 18

It is important we know that God is the almighty. He is the onoe who enable us to be whatever we are and what we shall be (John 3:27). He made us for His glory. He made us to be a blessing to our world (Genesis 12:2). He made us to influence the world for His glory (Matthew 5:16). He wants the world to be attracted to Him. He made us to show forth His grace and glory to the world through us.



God reminded the children of Israel that He made covenant with their father. His covenant is to bless them and establish them as a strong nation (Genesis 26:1-5). He reminded them that He is the one that enable them to be wealthy. So that they can use it for His glory. It is important that we come to this light that we achieve a feet because the Lord has given us the understanding to do it (Job 32:8). That is, only Him deserves to be glorified.


Most people rises up and fall because they do not recognize God as the strength behind their rising. They always think it is their making. So they botherr not to give glory to God who lifted them (Daniel 4:27-37). Don’t let this happen to you. Recognize God as you life and obey Him always. Peace!


PRAYER: Lord, help me to always recognize you as my strength

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
