  OTHER gods Psalm 16:1-11 Devotional:- “Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips.” (v.4) NKJV When people are caged in the spirit of idolatry. It will take God to deliver them. This spirit enslaves them in an endless journey of sorrow. They keep moving on in their wicked and painful sacrifices till they enter into their pit of regrets. This is because wickedness makes people seek the devil for a solution. It is either that they want spiritual aid for promotion, money, or power that they are not entitled to. Since they think that God’s way seems to be slow, they then turn to the devil for faster ways and evil results that look temporarily good. Sons of men need to know that the evil of “get it quick at all costs” is foolishness. Deuteronomy 8:10-20

Devotional Verse – V. 18

It is important we know that God is the almighty. He is the onoe who enable us to be whatever we are and what we shall be (John 3:27). He made us for His glory. He made us to be a blessing to our world (Genesis 12:2). He made us to influence the world for His glory (Matthew 5:16). He wants the world to be attracted to Him. He made us to show forth His grace and glory to the world through us.



God reminded the children of Israel that He made covenant with their father. His covenant is to bless them and establish them as a strong nation (Genesis 26:1-5). He reminded them that He is the one that enable them to be wealthy. So that they can use it for His glory. It is important that we come to this light that we achieve a feet because the Lord has given us the understanding to do it (Job 32:8). That is, only Him deserves to be glorified.


Most people rises up and fall because they do not recognize God as the strength behind their rising. They always think it is their making. So they botherr not to give glory to God who lifted them (Daniel 4:27-37). Don’t let this happen to you. Recognize God as you life and obey Him always. Peace!


PRAYER: Lord, help me to always recognize you as my strength

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
