VALUE YOURSELF 1 Peter 2:1-10  Devotional:- “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;” (V. 9) NKJV If anyone is going to enjoy the love of God, he must see himself as lovely. One of the ways for someone to see themselves as lovely is by valuing themselves. You need to know that of all the creatures of God, not only on earth but also in heaven, you are the most special. According to the word of God, there is no other creature that is as valuable as you are. You are the reason for the labour of the devil (1 Peter 5:8). You are the envy of the demons. You are the envy of the angels. A great percentage of the angels are serving the heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). The scripture we read today calls you a chosen one. That is, among the multitude, God selected you out for Himself. You are a royal priesthood, that is, you are a kingly priest...

Devotional Verse – V. 2

Been obedience to God is not just an act of religion. Been obedience to God is an act of wisdom (Deuteronomy 4:6). That is why it is completely wrong to think following God is doing religion. It is a relationship that will and should give you all the goodness of life (Isaiah 1:19). That is why it is often said that Christianity is not a religion but a relationship that affect every aspect of our lives. 


The word of God says, if we obey the Lord we shall be blessed. Please don’t be angry with this scriptures because it is the truth. Following God will lead you out of lack into abundance (John 10:10, Isaiah 48:17). Following God will make you to prosper and become envy of people (Genesis 26:12-13). Following God makes you to work into your favour and help. This is because God knows what we don’t know and see what we don’t see. He is the one to lead us into what to do and where to prosper (Psalms 16:11)

Friend, for you to experience the prosperity of God you must be willing to obey him in all things and in and in all area. This is because obeying the Lord makes us the vessel of God to carry out His plan on earth. Obeying God makes us instrument to carry out His plan and in the package of His plan is our prosperity. That is why God will test your submission, willingness and obedience before blessing you. He will instruct you to give and bless. Your prosperity is in your obedience. Peace.

Prayer – Lord, give me the grace to totally submit to your will always.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
