The time has come for children of God to wake up to know the power of the spirit that dwells in them. It is the spirit that dwells in you that empowers your mind. The spirit that dwells in you dwells in your blood and your blood runs through your body even your brain (Leviticus 17:11). It is this spirit that made it possible for your blood to transfer information through the parts of your body. It is when the Spirit of God is in you that you can be referred to as a son of God (Romans 8:14). It is then you can be referred to as God (John 10:34-35). 

As a child of God, the Holy Spirit is in you. This is what leads you to give your life to Christ. A natural mind will not take the things of God (1 Corinthians 12:3). But many believers only remain at this level and they don’t grow in the Spirit. So the enemy always takes advantage of them. 

To grow in the Holy Spirit in you, you will need to always exercise yourself in the word of God (1 Timothy 4:8). Learn to set time aside to study God’s word as a child of God. This is not a religious exercise but spiritual. Jesus says, the word that I speak to you they are spirit and life (John 6:63). So when you take the word of God, you are taking the Spirit of God in addition to what you have, so you will be growing stronger in the Spirit. This will in turn affect your mind and life. 

Since our spirit is more important, children of God should live a life of “no bible no bread”. At least a chapter a day. Do this from now and you will experience mental, physical and spiritual changes for the glory of God. It’s your turn to shine. 

Prayer: Lord, make me a lover of your word.

“WHEN YOU DON’T STUDY THE WORD, YOU ARE LIMITED IN THE SPIRIT”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
