There is no one that the devil doesn’t want to discourage. That is why we must seek to hear what will encourage us. Do you know that your life can be highly productive? You only need to be motivated and encouraged to move forward. Friend, if the company you keep does not motivate you, if the people who counsel you don’t challenge your faith, if the people you belong to doesn’t help you discover the potentials in you for greatness, there is a need to move away from such. Proverbs 4:20-27

Your mind is the major asset you have. Our mind is the major part that permits or refuses the enemy into our lives. When a man’s mind is intact, his life is intact. Our mind play a major role in our success system. It determines the state of our lives and destiny. Where you are now is where your heart has permitted you so far (Proverbs 23:7). Our mind is a material part of our soul that exercises thinking. It is the one that receives or rejects information. Since we know that our mind is this valuable to us we ought to do everything to keep it diligently.

The things that break or build our mind are pieces of information that comes through our five senses. So to guide your heart is to keep it from information that will not do it any good. Negative information, news of evil or bad reports, focusing on sinful or corrupt images, reading stories that do not build you positively or encourage or comfort you (1 Corinthians 14:3), whatever pulls your mind down, whatever breaks your strength and confidence, all of these are poisons to your mind. They will not aid your success. You need to keep your mind away from them.

You cannot but hear some of these, but as they come in through one ear, they should go out through another without contaminating your confidence. (Psalms 119:97). This is by refusing to meditate on them. As long as you can keep your mind, there is no way you will not be blessed. Let the devil be doing anything against you, you just continue to keep your heart for success and you will succeed.

Prayer: Lord, teach me to keep taking what will strengthen me.

“WHATEVER BUILDS SORROW AND FEAR INTO YOU WILL LEAD YOU TO FAILURE”
