POWER OF OPPORTUNITY  Esther 4:7-17 Devotional:- “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (V. 14) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional POWER OF OPPORTUNITY Support Us Esther 4:7-17 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com When God brings opportunities before us, it does not often look pleasant or good (Isaiah 53:1-3). It’s always packaged with challenges, but inside it is an opportunity for lifting and promotion. When God wants to help people, He simply brings them into opportunities. In the scripture we read today is a challenge but an arrangement by God to enthrone the Jews. Though it looked like a great problem t...

KNOWING HIM

KNOWING HIM

Daniel 11:30-37
Devotional:- “With flattery he will corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who know their God will firmly resist him.” (v.32) NIV

When anyone doesn’t have a good understanding of God, such will be very easy for the devil to deceive. That is why some easily backslide and follow the way of the devil. Knowledge, they say, is power. When you have good and deep knowledge of God, you will encounter the strength and the power of God to resist the devil. The major challenge faced by the church today is that many people follow God and do not know Him.

Some always think they are smart. Most people today only want to follow a god who will just do what they want. And funny enough, there are multitudes in the church like that today. The moment you start to teach about God, they get bored. How much more you now teach responsibility towards God; they feel you are disturbing them.

Friend, wake up to know that your knowledge of God is what determines how strong and established you will be in God. By running about, you can achieve nothing. Take time to learn of God through His word, and you will find rest for your soul (Matt. 11:29). Peace!

Prayer: Lord, open my understanding to know you more and more.

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
