THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. EAGLE BELIEVERS

EAGLE BELIEVERS

Isaiah 40:27-31
Devotional:- “But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their Strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” (V. 31) NKJV

So many things made the eagle peculiar. One of those features is that he rises up in the strong wind that chases other birds to hide. What brings troubles to others is what brings blessings to the eagles. When some people see failure, they see lifting. This should be your attitude in this challenging time (Job 22:29). In the scriptures we read today, God’s word likens believers to be an eagle. He said, they shall mount up wings like eagles.

When strong winds begin to blow, it is not always a good time for the birds of the air. Nothing can fully gain control in the air when the strong wind is blowing. Not even an aircraft. Such winds had destroyed many aircraft, so birds used to look for a place to hide. But that is the time of the eagle’s rising.

Believers are expected to take advantage of the challenging time, most especially this season, for their rising. You need to allow God to be your guide. Always wait for His instructions and be willing to obey them. While others are confused, He will guide you where the water is cool (Psalm 23:1-6). That is the reason you will always be comforted. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, show me the way to take advantage of this time.

“WHEN YOU CAN SEE LIKE AN EAGLE, YOU WILL NOT LACK.”
