THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. MINISTER OF HEALTH

MINISTER OF HEALTH

Proverbs 12:15-20
Devotional:- “Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.” (V. 18) NIV

All through the generations of man, one of the easiest things to do is wickedness. You will observe that pulling down is easier than building up. To destroy is far easier than to mend. This is actually the trick of the devil to make men live in wickedness. It is easier to curse than to bless. If you observe that you don’t find it easy to bless people, the reason is that the heart of man is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9).

But as a regenerated person, you must let your mouth bring health to people and not wound. People are already wounded, don’t add to their injury. Multitudes are already in pain; don’t add to it. God is out today looking for the messengers of health. Most people believe that you are a better preacher when your preaching frightens people, thinking that people will change by such.

Friend, join the group of ministers of health. Don’t jest about people who are in pain. Let your word always be with grace, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6). When words of hope, encouragement and peace flow through you, your life can not be contrary.

Prayer: Lord, ordain me a minister of health.

“A HEALER WILL ALWAYS ENJOY HEALTH.”
