THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. THE FALL OF JERICHO

THE FALL OF JERICHO

Joshua 6:6-20
Devotional:- “So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat. Then the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city” (V.20) NKJV

Often time the enemy doesn’t want God’s children to approach their blessing, and he will fence it round. Though it is just within their reach, the enemy will make it unavailable. So, they keep waiting endlessly. The blessing is there, but the fences must collapse to obtain it.

Jericho is one of the beautiful cities God has promised to give to the children of Israel. But it was with the strongest fences man can ever imagine. It was so big that four horsemen can race on it side by side. It was a closed city. But God instructed His children to praise Him around it for seven days, and on the seventh day with a shout of joy, That was all they need to do for their miracle to come.

Friend, praises will break that wall that fences your blessings. Stop grumbling in sorrow. Praise is faith, and it’s powerful (Psalms 23:3). Appoint seven days of miracle praises, and your God will step into the case. The enemy will give up on your matter. Doubt not in your heart (Mark 11:23). And your long-expected miracle shall come.

Prayer: Lord, it is my turn to enter my place.

“WHERE THERE IS PRAISE, PEOPLE WILL FIND THEIR PLACE”
