BE CAREFUL OF SUCCESS

Devotional:- Deuteronomy 8:11-20
"Beware that you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statutes which I command you today” (V. 11) NKJV


    Today, you may be facing some challenges, but your comfort will soon come. The challenge today is simply to prepare you for the coming glory (Nehemiah 8:18). So I know that your season of success is closer than you imagine. Know that we are about to see the greatest breakthrough in the body of Christ. 

This, therefore, necessitates that you should be informed to be careful of the challenges that can be posed by comfort. It must not remove you from Christ. It must not make you proud. The reason God made you pass through a tough time before the breakthrough is to make you appreciate Him more in times of comfort to serve Him. If not, you will make him jealous to remove your comfort (Malachi 2:1-2).

You therefore need to grow your love for God and for His kingdom, and not for money that will soon be in your hands. Get hooked to the work of the ministry. Choose to be involved in reaching out to either children or youth or men, or women. Always remember that the Lord is your source, and with humility, submit yourself under a leader who can correct you. And your success shall be retained. Peace!

Prayer: Lord, sustain me in your will in my time of comfort.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
