A HEART OF BLESSING

A HEART OF BLESSING Matthew 20:20-28 Devotional:- “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (V. 28) NKJV      As believers, the greatest opportunity you can ever have is to be a blessing. When a life is not a blessing, it cannot be fulfilled. The truth is that you are not in this world for yourself. We came here for God and others. If not for others, you would not be needed. So you are only important when others can be affected by your life.

SOWING

SOWING

I Kings 3:1-14
Devotional:- “Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.” (v.4) NKJV

Giving in obedience to God remains a major means of demonstrating true love for God (John 14:15). The truth is that if we truly love Him, giving what He has given us for the work of His kingdom will not be difficult for us. All through the scripture, God always test people’s love by asking them to give.

When He wanted to test the love of Abraham, He asked him to give his only son, and this led to a turnaround in his life (Genesis 22:15-17). Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings, and that led to a turnaround in his life.

It is important that we know that God owns all things (Psalms 24:1). He does not need the permission of the Canaanites to give their country to the Israelites because all things belong to Him. So, when He asks us to give, He is asking for His things that He has kept in our hands. Our willingness to obey Him qualifies us for Him to give us more (Isaiah 1:19). Friend, always prove your love for God by obeying His instruction to give, and your own finances and destiny will not be depressed.

Prayer: Lord, give me a giver’s heart.

“DEPRESSION IS A PRODUCT OF NON-FLOWING BLESSING.”
