HOURS OF PRAYER  Acts 3:1-10 Devotional:- “Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour” (V.1) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HOUSE OF PRAYER Support Us Acts 3:1-10 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Most people only pray or want to pray when they are faced with challenges. But for growing children of God. Prayer is not just making a demand. It is also creating time to be with our father. Much more than our request, God wants us around Him. He wants us always to speak and commune with Him.   Observing the scripture, you will discover prayer has been the habit of all men of God, including Jesus Christ (Luke 6:12). I Kings 3:1-14
Devotional:- “Now the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place: Solomon offered a thousand burnt offerings on that altar.” (v.4) NKJV

Giving in obedience to God remains a major means of demonstrating true love for God (John 14:15). The truth is that if we truly love Him, giving what He has given us for the work of His kingdom will not be difficult for us. All through the scripture, God always test people’s love by asking them to give.

When He wanted to test the love of Abraham, He asked him to give his only son, and this led to a turnaround in his life (Genesis 22:15-17). Solomon gave a thousand burnt offerings, and that led to a turnaround in his life.

It is important that we know that God owns all things (Psalms 24:1). He does not need the permission of the Canaanites to give their country to the Israelites because all things belong to Him. So, when He asks us to give, He is asking for His things that He has kept in our hands. Our willingness to obey Him qualifies us for Him to give us more (Isaiah 1:19). Friend, always prove your love for God by obeying His instruction to give, and your own finances and destiny will not be depressed.

Prayer: Lord, give me a giver’s heart.

“DEPRESSION IS A PRODUCT OF NON-FLOWING BLESSING.”
