THE PAST

THE PAST Isaiah 43:8-21 Devotional:- “Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.” (v.18) NKJV God, who gives us a memory, want us to use our past experiences to help us make quality decisions in the future, but the past is always the enemy of the future for many. If you don’t know how to manage your memory system of the past, it is capable of standing against your success in the future. As emotional beings, we are sometimes faced with the challenges of memories of our past experiences, our errors and failures. You will observe that at every point of decision-making to progress, the enemy will bring back to your memory the past experiences of your failure. This is just to bring fear to your heart and make you doubt the possibility of your success, so you could lose your joy. The scripture we read today instructs us to let go of the past. FELLOWSHIP

FELLOWSHIP

Hebrews 12:22-29
Devotional:- “But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly” (V.22) NIV

Fellowship with God and with the body of Christ is one of the most beautiful things man should enjoy. God has planted so many blessings and benefits into this relationship. One of the best ways to connect with these blessings is by fellowshipping with children of God. The reason is that fellowship is the richest source of strength (Psalm 84:7).

Fellowship means to hang around someone. It is to share your heart with each other. It is like chemicals interacting and mixing together. That is why every man is a product of where he fellowships (Proverbs 13:20).

When Moses was fellowshipping in God’s presence, the glory of God rubbed on him. He received the strength of God, and that is why he lived long in strength (Deuteronomy 34:7). Since no one could look at God in the face, the same story became of Moses, and he had to put on a veil to speak to people (Exodus 34:30-33).

It is high time you take your personal time with God seriously. This is a time you are alone with His word, and you and He commune and share together in worship and prayer. You can’t do this daily and not gain new strength daily for your victory.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to have entrance to your presence daily.

“YOU CAN’T BE RECEIVING FROM ABOVE AND BE DEFEATED ON EARTH.”
